Hello. I am corresponding with one person from East Europe on some business issue, and am often receiving Word documents with nice logo embedded as a watermark on the background of the page. I’d like to create a watermark on my Word documents, but I don’t know how, and feel uncomfortable to ask my business partner, so I wonder if you could help me?

Hello, I can help you. It is very congenial feature and I tested it. Creating Watermarks in Word is very easy to do. Under the Format menu, click Background and then Printed Watermark. You will have the option to insert picture or text as a watermark. Both can be faded or transparent, you can choose some predefined text or add yours. There are the options to manage font, color and layout of the text you choose for your watermark. This feature can look very nice, I hope your business partner will be impressed.
