Hi there. I hope that someone will be able to give me advice regarding this problem. I have downloaded some movie from internet (an amateur work of my friend) and I have tried to play it in WMP. The problem is that I can hear sound but I can not see any picture. What should I do to make WMP play video?

Hello there. When WMP is not playing video and it plays sound then the problem is in codecs. You will have to install proper codecs and the problem will be solved. You can try with some codec pack, like K-Lite codec pack, which will install all required codecs on your computer and then you will be able to watch that movie.
