I am planning to switch to Mozilla Firefox from Internet Explorer because of security reasons. After little researching I have found out that Firefox has its own vulnerabilities like this last one with QuickTime plug in. I am not computer expert but I would like you to explain to me how it works. Also, I would like to hear your opinion about Firefox vulnerability.

This is latest critical Firefox vulnerability. QuickTime Media-Link files contain a qtnext attribute that can be used to remotely execute code with full user privileges on host system. This is a very serious problem. Firefox has its own shortcomings and vulnerabilities. It is impossible to write completely secure software but I think that Firefox is more secure then Internet Explorer.
