I was doing complete reinstall of my system and, obviously, did something wrong. I have tried to install Vista Premium on one hard drive and Windows XP Professional on other hard drive. Now, I am unable to boot in Windows XP. Vista boot manager does not give me that option at all. How can I configure Vista Boot manager to let me boot XP? I hope you will have an answer for this problem.
Good old boot.ini file we all know from previous versions of Microsoft operating systems is replaced with BCDEdit file. This file is not one of the easiest to edit so if you are not familiar enough with computers I will advise you not to tamper with it alone. Instead, you can download very useful program called VistaBOOTPro which will do this job for you.
