I am using Vista Ultimate Edition and I have one question regarding Vista Sidebar Gallery. I am very annoyed with this gallery and I would like to remove it completely or to detached it and place it on some other place on desktop where it wont bother me. Can this be done and how?

Yes it can. You can customize sidebar in any way you want. You can add new gadgets, close or uninstall old ones, detach them and place somewhere else. It is really easy to do. If you want to close one gadget just right click on it and choose Close gadget option. If you want to uninstall it click on the plus sign on the top of sidebar, then right click on gadget and click on Uninstall option.
