Vista Desktop not clear

Hello! I have installed Windows Vista few days ago and I have a problem. Actually, my problem is not really problem. You see, I do not like thing that my Vista desktop is not clear. On the right side of the desktop I have some things as clock and other stuffs. I want to remove it from desktop, but I do not know how. Please, help me with this.

Hello! That “thing” on the right side of your desktop is Sidebar. In Sidebar you can find a lot of gadgets and I can tell you that some of them are very useful (e.g. Notes), but if you do not like it, then you should remove it. To remove Sidebar only you need to do is to right click on it and choose Close Sidebar.
