Viruses are reason why IE sucks

I have heard a lot of stories about how Internet Explorer has many security issues and how viruses can easily come through Internet Explorer. If this is true, and after all things I have read about this topic I believe it is, then viruses and security issues are the reason why IE sucks. What is your opinion?

Internet Explorer has many security issues and viruses can easily infect your computer through it. This is especially true for older versions of Internet Explorer. Microsoft is working hard to patch all that security wholes but the biggest problem is that Internet Explorer is so tightly connected to operating system which makes very hard to isolate security issues. After all, there are few other browsers that are not so affected with viruses so you should try some of them.
