Hello! I have heard that if I use Virtual PC software I can use two or more Windows operating systems on one computer. This is confusing for me, because I thought that for two or more Windows or other operating system as Linux is I need only installation discs and enough hard drive space.

Hello! Virtual PC is software which makes virtual machine. So, it actually installs other Windows operating systems on virtual machine and virtual machine is on your existing Windows operating system. This software is Microsoft product and with it you cannot install some Linux distribution. I hope that this helps you!
