| I got new game and installed it on my computer. But, I could not play it, because I got massage that I am running on low virtual memory. I think that cd is not good. My friend has such problem and he couldn't install it at all, but he told me that I probably somehow install it, but now I can't run it. Does he has right? |

No, you arent right. First of all, if the cd is problem, you wouldnt be able to install the game.
Try to close all programs, before starting the game. Your game probably needs a lot of memory (its the case with every newer game).
Also, try to increase virtual memory. Click on start, than control panel, than system, than advanced, than performance settings, than advanced (again), than virtual memory change. After that you will see window in which you can change initial and maximum size of virtual memory.
If this doesnt help, maybe you should buy more RAM and add it to computer. (Just to know, for playing new games you need at least 512MB and some of them needs 1GB and more).
p.s.
I suggest you to buy RAM, because virtual memory is a much slower than RAM.
p.p.s.
And you cant get to much RAM! |
