I wanted to play the Guild wars but it turned out that my current Graphic Card doesn’t meet the game’s requirements. I’ve done a little research on Graphic Cards and decided to buy Verto GeForce FX 5500 Video Card. The problem is I’m not sure it’s compatible with my current system. I have a 2.2GHZ Intel Celeron Processor and 768Mb RAM. The OS is WinXP. Could anyone here please tell me if I’ll need to buy a completely new PC?

I don’t think that you have to buy a new PC. Your computer is a P4 platform and the card you want to buy has P3 as minimum requirements. Anyway, if you haven’t been adding hardware to your system on your own before, I think you shouldn’t do it now either. If you have a friend who’s more experienced with such things you should ask him for help. But I think that nowadays every shop that sells hardware also provides you with technical support. Enjoy the Guild Wars!
