Ever since I switched to Verizon DSL, I'm having serious speed issues. It just crawls down to a trickle every couple of hours or so, and then stays like that until I restart or reconnect. I ran some speed tests but didn't really know what to make of 'em. Does anyone else have this kind of problem w/Verizon?

My first suspicion would be you've got malware, and it's eating up your bandwidth. You didn't mention whether you're using any firewall software – if you're not, then you should. Also get some anti-spyware programs (like Hijack This, and/or Spybot) and scan your system for malware of any kind. After you clean it up, it's possible your problem will disappear.
