Hello. I have a problem with my old Linksys router that used to work fine before. It started crashing at least two times a day recently and so I decided to update the firmware but it resulted in even more problems since VPN doesn’t work at all now. I am using a Moto cable modem and I’m running Windows XP Pro with the standard Windows VPN connector software. Did anyone else experience this kind of problem? What can I do to fix it?

I think that this may help: there should be an option called "block WAN requests" under security. It would be good if you were to disable it. You should also try forwarding port numbers 1723,500,50,47,445 . And you could run a trace route to your corporate VPN to check where the packet is dropping too. I hope this helps you with your problem.
