I'm trying to set up a VPN behind a WAG54GS Linksys router, and obviously, it's not working (elsewise I wouldn't be here telling you about it, would I now?) Before anyone says anything, yes, I do have a static IP! I've repeated this for like a hundred times to the tech support at Linksys, but they keep driving me around in circles, and every time we wind up back at "Well, you see, you need a static IP for that to work." Infuriating! Anyway, if anyone has some good advice about this router model and VPN configuration, please, don't hesitate to share…

Right of the bat: Do away with NAT on each of your client machines. This is probably the number one cause of VPN problems on Linksys. Don't know why, but someone once said it fucks up the fingerprinting, whatever that means. Mind you, it's quite possible to use NAT, but when you do encounter problems, make it your prime suspect.
