Hello! I am planning to use VOIP, but I have heard that there are many issues regarding this. I am not sure what problems I can expect. I hope tat you will able to tell me a little bit more regarding this subject. What would be the minimal needed speed for using VOIP? I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! Minimal needed speed is 64 kb/s. You have to pay attention on security risks. Nowadays there are many viruses and worms. Also, you could have problems if you have equipment from different vendors which is not compatible. Also, you may have problems with unauthorized accesses, pay attention on variability of frauds (e.g. toll fraud). You need to use personal firewall, too.
