| I bought my PC last year and have no complaints, everything works Ok. However, last week Ive bought a laptop and since then I am trying to connect it to my desktop with an Ethernet cable. The laptop seems to respond Ok, but on my desktop an error keeps popping up that there are problems with connecting to VIA Rhine II Ethernet or something similar. Any solutions? |

| I think there are two things that may have caused your problem. The first thing is you need to use a special UTP cable called cross-over cable, when you want to connect two computers directly. If this is not your story, you probably didnt have network setup wizard run. I assume you just tried to connect them directly to each other, without starting the wizard, right? |
