| At the moment, I have both browsers installed and I'm using them interchangeably – mainly Opera, but since it has that ugly flaw of refusing to open some random pages, I find myself switching to the Internet Explorer now and again. The problem is, I recently heard that there was some inherent security risk in having both browsers installed and working? What's that about? Should I drop one, just to be on the safe side? |

No need. You probably picked up some loose ends of the heated debates over that "Firefox plus IE equals security loophole" that was around a while ago. So, first of all, it's not Opera, and second of all, even if it were Opera, the problem was fixed through patching, updating, and the like.
