| Hi and welcome! So I am guessing you are using the old Windows OS not Vista one, according to your use of Norton Ghost for cloning, because that program is not compatible with Vista asks for Windows Vista DVD for repair startup files. I don’t know if you were doing something with system like first trying to restore it to some date when it was functioning well, and still not working well?! But yes, you suppose to be able to restore your HDD just the way it was when you made a clone with Norton Ghost, if you made it in bootable version. You could ask for another opinion, just in case. |
