Hello. I have difficulties browsing Java-based web pages with Firefox. What happens is it informs me it needs to download and install the Java Runtime Environment to display the contents correctly, but the thing is, I already have JRE installed and working – IE uses it all the time. I'm being told Firefox generally sucks at supporting Java and JavaScript both, is that true? Is there a way around this problem? TIA.

Maybe I'm just pointing out the obvious, but did you install the JRE before or after you installed Firefox? If it's before, try removing it, restarting the computer, and then installing it again. I'm not exactly sure how it integrates with browsers, but this should make it recognize the new one.
