I have bought some used PC a few weeks ago. I have noticed that it’s graphics was very lousy and amount of system RAM was strange (it was 224MB). Then, after testing it with Sandra, I found out that it is a PC with integrated graphics and shared memory. I also have an AGP slot. Is the upgrade to AGP card simple?

Quite simple. You get the AGP card (buy, for example, used 6600 on ebay, they are cheap but good), open the case, put the card in the slot, close the case, connect the monitor to a newly attached graphics card, enter the BIOS, disable the onboard card, reboot the machine, enter the windows, install the drivers. Voila!
