Thanks God I have managed to get rid of that dial up connection! It was killing me for the past couple of years. Now I have subscribed to cable internet connection and everything has been working fine until some error occurred. A friend told me that it could be solved by updating cable modem. How to do that and is it too complicated? I wouldn’t like to damage something.

I don’t think that it is something too complicated. I mean, you should go to manufacturer’s site and find your model. There you’ll find some drivers for the update. Download them an after that install them but be careful when you’re selecting the type of your modem because it wouldn’t be good if you would install a wrong driver. Anyway, if you’re wondering how to do that properly, you can call tech support of your provider and ask tem to guide you through the driver installation process. I think that you would not have too much problems because you should only follow the instructions on screen. That will solve all your problems with bad connectivity.
