Hello! I have made local area network in my home. I have two desktops and one computer. I have bought wireless Linksys router and I have connected with CAT5 cables desktop computers to this router, but not laptop because it has only wireless network card and I do not know how to setup it. Should I buy wired NIC for laptop? Can you help me with this, please?
p.s.
I am running Win XP SP2 OS

| Hello! This is very easy. Just do following: click Start, open Control Panel, then Network Connections. Now you will need to right click on the Wireless Network Connection and then click Properties. Windows XP offers you automatic wireless configuration (which is recommended), so, to enable it just check Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings. To access your local area network, click Available networks, then click on your LAN name and on the Configure button. |
