I am still using dial up connection and I usually save web pages for later, offline viewing. When I click on some of saved web pages Windows start dialing ISP number, although I did not want to do that. This is also happening with any other file that can have some connection to internet. How can I disable this annoying auto dial feature?

It is easy to disable auto dialing. Go to Control Panel and double click on internet Options. In the window that shows click on Connection tab. You will see several options here. Select Never dial a connection and click Apply button. Close this window and try to open some saved web pages. You will see that windows is not using auto dial feature anymore.
