Getting rid of Norton is really tiring both on Mac and PC. You should search for ‘Norton’ and ‘Symantec’ in spotlight and trash whatever it finds. If you’re unable to empty the trash because Norton appears to be in use, go to ‘system preferences’ and remove Norton from startup items in the accounts panel, then log out and again back in, and you should be able to empty it. Anyway, you should be logged as administrator or you’ll be asked for admin pass. Anyway I’d recommend you to use BrickHouse as your firewall. It’s free and it’s really good. I hope this all helps. Write if you need more help.
