Uninstalling Gator software?

Hello! I am using Windows XP Pro operating system with SP2 installed and somehow on my system is installed something called gator software. I do not want this software on my system and I want to uninstall it, but I am not sure how to do that. Can you tell me what I need to do to solve this problem?

Hello! Well, I know how irritating Gator can be, believe me. To uninstall it do following: first turn off gator (right click on Gator icon in your systray and click Exit); then click Start, then open Control Panel, then open Add or Remove Programs. In the list below you will find Gator. Just click on it and then click Remove button. This will remove it from your system.
