| I have recently installed DirectX 9.0. However, I seem to have a card that is too old and all the games I play are crashing. As everything worked well with previous version, I would like to uninstall this DirectX. If anyone could tell me how can I do it, since I do not see it in list of the programs, that would be great. |

| Uninstalling DirectX is not possible by any conventional means, as it is a part of the system and cannot be removed that easily. You can always install DirectX 8.1 again, in which case your drivers will simply return to the that version. However, since you want to uninstall it, I suggest you download some programs designed specially for that action. These are third-party programs, not made by Microsoft, but still very efficient and stable. You can download such programs at http://majorgeeks.com. Simply type directX, and you will find several choices you might find suitable for you to download. |
