I have had Linksys WiFi adapter drivers with my router. However, I am very unsatisfied as they made me a lot of problems and did not work too well. However, the installation is pretty peculiar and so I do not seem to be able to remove these drivers in any normal fashion. If anyone could help me, that would be great.

There were some problems with Linux drivers, but it also depends from driver to driver. Latest ones, for example, are pretty good. However, if you need to remove it, and there seem to be no evidence of them in your system, I am afraid you will need to access your registry editor. You will do that by simply typing 'regedit' in your 'run' field. After that, search the entire registry for any ''linksys'' entries and delete whatever you find under that name. It should definitely remove anything related to the drivers. Just be careful not too delete anything important.
