Unable to download .exe files

Hi guys. I am fighting with very unusual problem, or I just think so. I have noticed that I just cant download any .exe file. I have tried winamp for several times and Internet Explorer is just denying. I can open the file, but I cannot save the file anywhere on my hard drive. What is the cause and how do I solve this weird situation? Thanks in advance.

I think that the cause is your antivirus software. No matter which browser you are using, all of them have permissions by default for almost any file extension to be saved on your computer from the web. My advice is to change the security level for firewall or antivirus software installed on your system. There is always a risk, but on the other hand, risk is not always included.
