I can no longer connect to an Fserve, nor can I initiate a DCC send, using mIRC. I keep getting "unable to connect", which has to be the least helpful of all error messages. I used to be able to, as recently as last week, and I don't think any firewall settings have been changed since then. I'm not sure, but I also think the program configuration is unchanged. Any thoughts on what's going on?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know you don't connect to an F-serve, it connects to you. So, the problem would be on the other side of the connection, not on yours. Did you try connecting to more than one? Don't know about the DCC send issue, never had a problem with that myself… maybe you could try setting a different DCC port range?
