Hello. I ham having problems with my USB hard drive. When I start up my computer and when I turn on the external drive with the XP, it just wont appear inside my computer. But, when I plug it out than plug it again, it appears all of the sudden! It just wont recognize the drive at start. Why? Does somebody knows? Thanks.

There is a very simple answer on this. I had the similar issues as you did, and I have noticed a quite different story in Linux with the same drive. Linux recognizes the drive at boot time, Windows doesnt. That is because of the Microsofts operating system politics. None of the external hard drives wont work during the boot time.
