Hi am new hoping someone can help, Have an intermittent problem that my USB card reader,my portable drive, my brand new flash drive and my scanner are not recognised spasmodically . Printer is fine. They work for a few days then stop, then anything between 2 and 5 days works again, this has been gong on for months. Had it to a shop but never does it there, devices working on neighbours computer okay. Running XP SP2 have downloaded any updates. Pulling my hair out can't figure out what it is, tried booting up without scanner and printer attached still the same, also tried without modem in case there was a fault there but no change
Guy at shop is covinced someting is drawing the power, orignally when it started he put in biggger power supply in computer.  |
