Hello! I have cable internet connection and I have two computers. I want to network them. Both of them are running Windows XP Professional operating system with SP2 installed. I have heard that I will need two crossover cables for making this network. Is that true? I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! It is true and I will explain you now. The simplest way for creating network will be crossover cables network. Both computers must have network cards, but one of them must have two network cards. This is important because one network card will be connected with crossover cable to other network card (on the other computer) and second network card will be connected to the cable modem.
