I need to merge two networks in one. Both networks are working fine and they are using their own routers to connect to internet and between computers. What I need to know is it, somehow, possible to merge this network in one with some minimal configuration changes. I have in mind adding additional router. What is your opinion?

Connecting two routers to additional one is the easiest way to merge your networks. You have to pay attention on configuration only on routers. Disable DHCP server on two old routers and enable DHCP server only on new router so it will give IP addresses to computers and two old routers. If everything goes well, this will be the only configuration change you will have to do.
