| Since installing the damn thing, I've had to tackle no less than half a dozen problems that kept it from functioning normally. I had the psapi.dll rogue file situation, the fuzzy clear type text situation, the crashing add-ons situation, and a couple more. Finally, I've cleared everything up, but now after the last reinstallation, I can't even get the damn thing to run! It starts up, then immediately disappears, no error message or anything! Any idea what this one is about? |

Here's what Microsoft's support pages had to tell me when I registered a nearly identical problem some time ago.
Go to Start / Run, and enter "cmd".
Once you get to the command prompt, type "cd\" (no quotes), followed by "cd Program Files", then "cd Internet Explorer". Once you get to the IE folder, type the following:
"regsvr32 IEPROXY.DLL"
This should re-register the failing dll file, and set things straight.
