| I need your help concerning the trouble I have with my external DVD burner. Namely, it’s extremely slow and my PC is not that old. I have a fast processor and 512MB memory. I s no reason why this component would be so slow, when the PC itself is comparatively fast and the DVD burner that is part of PC has a normal speed. What could be the problem? |

| The only thing that occurs to me is the possibility that this external DVD burner is slow if it’s connected to the PC via USB port. I know that for some reason devices such as DVD burners or modems should not be connected to PC via USB port. Whenever I’m transferring something by mean of USB port, it always takes ages despite the fact that I have USB protocol 2.0. Maybe there is some other reason, but this was all I could remember at the moment. Or maybe that external DVD burner is generally speaking not too fast. Read its specifications and see what its performances are. Anyway, if you think tat there is something else wrong with your PC, have it checked out |
