Hi all! I bought another PC about a week ago and I’m trying to make a small network at home consisting of my old PC and this new one. I’m using a D-Link DES-1005D switch for this since I already have a DSL-302G modem/router. Sharing a DSL internet connection and everything else works OK. The only problem is that I can’t configure port forwarding for the E-Mule. It used to be fine before I hooked this new PC to my old one. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

There should be the ‘port forwarding’ option somewhere in the config page, under NAT. But I’m not sure it would fix your problem. I think that you need to buy a proper router if you want this to function. Even though 302g has some routing capabilities (routing packets between USB and Ethernet) it’s not a real router. And hooking that switch isn’t helping. I’m sorry but I think a new router is the only real solution for you.
