| Hi guys, I've been trying to get some really old games to run on my Win XP SP 2 machine, namely the original Dune, but some others, too. I've tried starting them from the dos mode window (because, of course they're dos games), but they wouldn't work. What do I need to do to get them to work in XP? Thanks in advance! |

| Windows XP does not really have a DOS mode, so you're probably talking about the command prompt, which is a "fake DOS" environment. Unfortunately, some of the older games just won't work in it, so you'd need some kind of emulator to get them to work. Try googling for it, and add the names of the game you're trying to start into the search. |
