| I have recently bought cell phone. It supposedly has an option of connecting to the PC. I have even got cables that should do that, but when I connect it, nothing happens. My computer simply does not seem to recognize it. I have no idea why this happens, so if anyone could give me any suggestions, that would be great. |

| There can be several reasons why your computer was not able to recognize the phone you were trying to connect. It might be either a software problem, or a problem in hardware. If we exclude the possibility your cable might not be working, there is a significant chance that the specific USB port you were trying to plug your phone into is not working. Try plugging it in other USB ports. If it still does not work, check if you installed a driver, as sometimes, the phone will not be recognized automatically.
