Hello folks. Somehow I earned TROJ_Generic.Z trojan, or that is what my anitvirus says. But without any success of removing the malicious code. I tried to do that manually, but it keeps coming back and back again. How do I delete this virus? Is there some easier way for non-experienced users like me or I should let someone more intuitive to handle this? Thanks in advance.

Well, you can try to handle the threat by your self, it is not easy but also not so hard. Here is what you are going to do. Try to locate the file from antivirus threat log manually. After you did that, write down the name of the file provided by your antivirus, and by using HiJack This software, check all entries from the log that has something to do with the file. Check all of suspicious for fix. DO that, and after the job done, enter the Registry Editor, than search and delete from within the registry all possible strings with the similar name. Registry Editor is starting up with the regedit command from the run box dialog. I hope this was helpful.
