Today I scanned the system for viruses using Kaspersky, and found a trojan called “ABoxinst_intB[1].exe”. The scan couldn’t delete it immediately (I assumed it was loaded into memory already) so it asked to delete it at startup. I said OK, but the next time I scanned (immediately after restarting), it found the exact same thing, at the same location. So I went to that location and tried deleting it manually, but that didn’t work – got the message saying it can’t delete because it’s currently being used and yada yada… Any suggestions?

The only suggestion that comes to mind is that you try a different antivirus utility. I’m using AVG myself, and haven’t had any complaints, including interventions where you had to check “delete at startup” to get it done. Maybe if you post the log here, we could see what went wrong and where?
