Greetings everyone. I don’t know what I did, but I do know that I just can’t see my icon text as it was. The letters were transparent somehow, and there was no background color for any icon text. Now I have that old blue default windows 2000 color instead of transparency. I have no problems with that at all, but I do have objection for the desktop walpaper. I just can’t see the picture well. How to revert this to old state? Thanks in advance.

Hello. This is nothing else but a simple visual setting. You can find these inside System Properties. Go to your control panel and locate the System Icon. You can access control panel trough start menu, I believe. When you get your self inside System properties, you will see the Advanced Tab. Click there, and below on the performance settings, check the „Use drop shadow for Icon labels on the Desktop“. This requires no reboot.
