Hi, all! I found a VHS of one of my best friends participating in a quiz show when he was a kid. He doesn’t know about it and I want to make a little surprise for his birthday by playing that video. The only problem is that he hasn’t got a VCR in his house so I’ll have to transfer it from VHS to my PC and then burn it to a disc and I’m not sure how to do that. Could anyone please explain me the process? I have a VCR at my place. Thanks in advance!
You need a VCR (which you have) and a PC with the proper port. I’m not sure that you have the proper port since some Video cards don’t have it. It’s either a Cable of S-Video port that you need. Check on the back side of the computer for those ports. If you don’t have them, you need to buy other Video card to do what you want. For example you could buy an ATI card called All-In-Wonder. It has a Cable port. I think they’re not that expensive anymore. When you find out if you have or haven’t got this port, write again and I’ll give you some more instructions.
