| I have been having an old hard disk for a really long time but now I need to change it. It does not have great capacity, and I need something where I can store more data. However, as I have really important information, I would like to transfer the data from one disk to another, new one. If anyone could help me with it, that would be great. |

| Saving your information from an older hard disk is very important and I am sure you would hate to lose any of it. There are several ways you can transfer your information from one disk to the other. If you have a cd/dvd writer, write on your CDs or DVDs all the data you need, and move it back to a new hard disk later. On the other hand, if you have too much data (and you need to transfer, say, 100gb), you can plug your new hard disk next to the old one, and simply copy all information, removing the old one after the data has been transfered. I hope you find the suggestions helpful. |
