Greetings. I have bought brand new PC. Asus motherboard, Intel Core Duo, Ati Radeon X1650 pro, 2 gigabytes of ram and 500 gb seagate SATA II drive. Now, I have a lot of necessary data on my old 160 gb hard drive. In order to transfer those files to new config properly, what should I know more? I am not so experienced user and thats is why I am asking. Is there some special procedure to do this or I can do that with ease? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Offcourse that you can do that with ease. There is a method called files and settings transfer wizard. When you insert your XP CD, I suppose that you are using MS Windows, this feature can be selected from the auto play menu. But, if you already got Operating system installed, than there is no use of that. The second method is using simple copy/paste command. But, first thing to do in order to copy and paste your data from one drive to another is to connect your old drive to your new config. If you have some more experienced friend for this, you better ask him or her for a favor.
