Transferring data between 2 computers

Greetings! Well my question is not the matter of emergency at all, but still Ill be grateful if you could find some time and inform me about this matter. I am collecting this info just cause of precaution in case something goes wrong so I need to back up files and if in the future I decide to share some files with my friends. I am being curious about knowing all the possible ways for transferring data between 2 computers. Write your suggestions! Cheers!

Hello! Hmm if you are really looking for safety measures then I will tell you backup your files every day if its possible using CDs or DVDs, which is the best data protection. I wont suggest external HDD, not trusting them much. In general you can connect computers by the parallel cable, direct file transfer cables, or USB File Transfer Cable (best) and then use the proper software for transfer PCLinq, GeneLink, SmartLink. This is just some models (cables, softwares) I probably missed some of them for sure. And if you have some fast internet connection then you dont need to know any of these previously mentioned things just some peer-to-peer sharing program.
