| I've just recently set up a small local network at home, mainly so we could all share the same printer. It's working, sort of, except I think the fire transfer between clients on the network is a little too slow, at least compared to what I saw on other LANs. Is there some way I can check this? |

Um check what exactly, the speed of your own LAN, or the average file transfer speed for local networks en general? You can get a rough estimate here, just tell us how long it takes to move, say, a 100 MB file from one machine to another, and we'll rate ya  |
