Hi there! I have a kind of a strange problem with my Toshiba laptop. When I plug the AC adapter in, it just won’t boot. If I try booting it when it’s not plugged, it’s OK and then I can plug the adapter and everything is OK. It’s not such a big deal but I was just wondering if this is some Toshiba Laptop’s general property or is it just my laptop that’s a bit weird?

I don’t think that all Toshiba laptops have this problem – in fact I know it since I used to have one and it would boot just fine while plugged in. There might be some problem with the adapter itself. You should check if the voltage is the right one for your laptop. I think that you’ll be able to find this info on Toshiba’s website. Or it may be that you’ve turned on ‘sleep’ mode recently – believe it or not this can cause strange things to happen to your laptop. Cheers!
