At first I used to get bad RTC battery messages, but they went away after I rebooted. Then it started locking up occasionally, but not really often, so I still did nothing. Now, it stopped responding completely, just won't boot at all! I tried replacing the RTC battery, but that didn't work. Some advice, please?

I had this one myself, and apparently the whole series has a problem with physical board connections. The advice I was given was to disconnect the power board and then put it back in, which amazingly enough worked for me. This is all according to this site: laptoprepairguy.com. Just do a search for Sat A30, and you should find the article.
