I have a Toshiba Notebook that I always keep plugged in. Sometimes it would switch to battery power and then back to AC (I heard this is to keep the battery in shape, or whatever). Anyways, lately, it ONLY operates off the battery. Once the battery is dead, I can't use my computer until it's charged again. The battery charges when I shut down, but it doesn't operate off AC power anymore when I use it! I don't know why? I tried to get into the power management console to see if anything there changed and I get the error message:
An exception occured while trying to run "Shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\Windows\system32\CoPM.cpl"
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!! |
