I have this Toshiba laptop for more than two years and it worked all right up until last week when it suddenly started having charging problems. I have to put the cord in certain position and only then will the charging start. I thought it was a cord problem but I borrowed another cord from a friend and it worked the same way. What do you think I should do since this laptop isn’t under warranty anymore? Thanks!

The most probable cause for your problem is that something is wrong with the power plug on your machine. If it’s too much of a bother for you to have to adjust the cord the certain way, then I think your only option is to get a replacement board. Try searching for it on the net.
