Toshiba 6100 problem with screen

I have unusual problem with screen on my Toshiba 6100. It become very dark and I can see things on screen only if I look vary closely. It looks like brightness is set to only few percents but it is completely normal (I have checked this). Do you have any idea what has happened with screen and how to fix it?

It looks like back light lamp is dead on your Toshiba 6100. These problems with laptop screens can happen and you will need to buy new back light lamp. It is quite expensive and on some laptop models (I am not sure for Toshiba 6100) you will have to change whole screen. The best thing to do is to take laptop to some technician and let him change back light lamp or screen.
